KLOP - South Hamilton's Greatest Hits T-Shirt

What started out as some faculty being put in charge of dances turned into the soundtrack for generations of South Hamilton students and alumni. Under the call name "KLOP" which stood for "Klein, Lovell, Oswald and Penning" (the names of the teachers), became synonymous of great tunes and good times for all of those in attendance.

This group, and other teachers along the way, provided the backdrop for thousands of first dances that resulted in first kisses... and in a lot of cases, turned into weddings where they would DJ the receptions until the kegs went dry in an old gym turned dance hall.

This design is a tribute to these instructors who helped make endless memories for thousands of Hawks and Hawkettes in the style of an old school rock station shirt. Because, if they were a real station, they would be airing South Hamilton's Greatest Hits.
