Join us for a BAR CRAWL on Saturday, February 10!!!

Instead of a “cookie walk”, it’s a “bar crawl”! Dust off your aprons and start practicing your best “bar” recipes for this recipe contest fundraiser in support of the Stanhope Public Library!

Enter your best bars for the event and be included in a campus recipe book.   Prizes will be awarded for: best use of chocolate, best non-chocolate, best youth (16 and under) and best of show. Other categories may be added based on the number of entries.

Not a baker? Come for the tastings! For a small fee, you can taste some (or all) of the offerings, and vote for your favorite bars.

BAR CRAWL INFO:

WHAT: Stanhope Public Library and Stanhope State University Bar Crawl WHEN: Saturday, February 10 – 1:00 to 3:00 PM 

DETAILS: Bars are made by local bakers with entries put into a campus recipe book! WHERE: Stanhope Hove Family Community Center

WHY: Fundraiser to support library projects and HAVE FUN

RULES: 

· Entry fee is $20 per bar entered. Each entrant will receive a t-shirt, Stanhope State University apron and a recipe book. 

· Bar entry registration deadline is Friday, February 9th. 

· Entrants must bring at least one 9X13 pan of bars to the Stanhope Community Center by 1:00 on February 10. 

· Entries must include the recipe for their bars.

 · Recipes and entry fees must be turned in by 5pm Friday, February 9th to be included in the recipe book. 

· There will be one cash prize awarded for every 5 entries. 

· Additional prizes in the form of merchandise will also be awarded. 

· Categories may include: best chocolate, best non-chocolate, people’s choice, 16 and under, judges favorite.
